Healthy Snack – Apple Donuts

I wanted to share a fun and healthy snack that requires zero cooking. All you need is an apple and toppings of your choice. You can make these Apple Donuts completely vegan or simply vegetarian (if you decide to use dairy), either way it’s delicious!

Start with removing the center of the apple with an apple corer, then slice the entire apple in 1/4″ thin slices. And voila, now all you need to do is pick the topping of your choice and spread it across each apple slice.

Some toppings that I love on my Apple Donuts:

  • Honey and granola
  • Cream cheese with pecans or some sort of nuts
  • Almond butter and coconut flakes
  • Honey, cinnamon and sliced strawberries
