Pumpkin puff pastry twists

It’s October and one of my favorite months, besides December and August. So I wanted to get my “toes wet” with a fall inspired desert. I decided to give this “Pumpkin Twist” recipe a try that I found at The Novice Chef. The recipe is very simple and the pastries turned out very pretty looking. What I would do differently next time is to roll out the puff pastry a little bit and make it thinner, and use one sheet to make 2 pastries. I think these two changes would make them a bit flakier and more airy. But overall cute and tasty pumpkin pastries.

Which recipe to try next time that has a little fall flare to it? Any ideas or recipes are welcome…
